It ingests RTMP (from OBS, vMix, etc.), can transcode, and delivers HLS/DASH to your viewers with consistent low-latency performance. Do you support RTMP ingest and HLS playback?
Yes. RTMP ingest is available via Nginx-RTMP by default. We deliver to viewers over HLS (and DASH on request). Wowza Streaming Engine is an optional add-on if you need server-side recording or advanced workflows.
How long is setup?
Typical provisioning is ~24 hours after payment and verification. We’ll email your credentials and ingest URLs as soon as it’s ready.
Is the service fully managed?
Yes. We handle OS hardening, firewall, streaming stack configuration, monitoring, and ongoing support so you can focus on content.
Can I add more storage later?
Yes. You can add NVMe capacity at any time. We can plan layouts for growing VOD libraries or integrate external/object storage on request.
What happens if I exceed my monthly traffic?
Budget/Enterprise plans bill extra traffic at $3 per TB. Supreme bills $1 per TB. We’ll notify you with options before any significant overage.
Do you offer Wowza and recording?
Yes. Wowza Streaming Engine is available as a $100/month add-on for recording, transmuxing, and advanced features.
Which encoders are supported?
OBS, vMix, Wirecast, Larix Broadcaster, and most RTMP encoders work out of the box. We’ll provide the RTMP URL and stream key.
Can you migrate my current streams?
Yes. We can replicate your profiles, set up ingest and playback, and run a test window to minimize downtime during the cutover.
